Sophisticated, Gorgeous, Cheap Little Black Dresses

Author: When someone uses the word 'cheap' it brings about a lot of connotations. For me when someone says cheap little black dresses I think around a $100-$150. But it's not impossible to find a fantasic dress for even less. That's a magic number for me, $100. The reason being that the type of dress will be worn on more occassions than any other. It is also so easy to make it look like a completely different outfit every time you slip into it. So what is the deal with cheap little black dresses?

For the office a blazer, a cardigan or even an under-sweater (a thin one ladies, let's not try to fit the boyfriend sweater under a sexy dress - even if it does make the oobies-bay ook-lay ig-bay). T-shirts, upper body suits, dickies, turtlenecks - all of these make a dress look completely different; especially if belts and scarves are used around the waist to change it up even more. In fact, later that week you could even throw that scarf on a shoulder or neck and it's also a money saver. Sheer hose for the more reserved offices and a brighter color for the more creative and contemporary businesses (be sure to match shoes well with hosiery. Red hose with pink shoes, for example, might make more than a few people gape (and not in a 'wow she looks awesome' way.))
The same dress is perfect with the right shoes, some bling and a clutch purse for the evening. Going from day to night? Grab that scarf and wrap it around loose hair instead of around the waist.
